Heart Attack Symptoms : Preventing Heart Attacks

How to prevent a heart attack. The best thing
you can do for your heart is to maintain a
healthy lifestyle. That is, to get plenty
of exercise. If you exercise, you're strengthening
your heart. This is going to help your heart
to be able to one, never to get a heart attack,
and two, to recover better if you do ever
suffer one. Two, you need to maintain a good
nutritional diet; to eat low fat, high fiber,
and get plenty of water is going to be the
best thing to serve your heart. Also, do not
smoke. If you smoke, you're going to increase
the stress that your heart suffers. This is
going to cause many other problems, including
possibly suffering a heart attack. Also, if
you have medical problems, like high blood
pressure or diabetes, you need to keep these
under check. If you suffer from coronary artery
disease and high cholesterol, you need to
adjust your diet and eat healthier. You need
to discuss these things with a nutritionist,
or with your doctor, and follow their orders.
This is going to be the best thing to be able
to do to prevent yourself from ever having
a heart attack.

NYC Cops Stop Knife Attack â€" in Los Angeles

Two New York City cops subdue a knife-wielding
attacker- but the drama unfolded not in the Big
Apple, but rather in Los Angeles.
The incident happened Wednesday afternoon November 18th,
along the iconic Walk of Fame on Hollywood Boulevard.
The New York Daily News reports NYPD
detectives Alberto Ramos and Daniel Mulligan were
in L.A. to serve a warrant on a suspect,
when they saw a Russian tourist being slashed.
The detectives drew their guns and were able to
tackle the suspect to the ground.
He was later identified as 54-year-old Donald Offerman.
Cell phone video taken in the immediate aftermath
showed individuals believed to be Ramos and
Mulligan standing over the handcuffed suspect
before handing him over to Los Angeles police.
KTLA reports he's facing attempted murder charges
and being held on $500,000 bond.
The victim is expected to survive.
