Clockwork Clown
Iâ™ve been in this café, ever since this afternoon
You were supposed to comeâ¦I bought your favorite flowers too
The people in this place, I canâ™t look in the face
Because you ditched me, I feel like Iâ™m a discgrace
Such an easy choice, can be so hard nonetheless
Iâ™ll just get up and walk, we donâ™t have to talk about why Iâ™m so depressed
I want to give you a chance, of stating how you feel
But deep inside, I cannot hide, I feel like youâ™ll fool me still
Oh! You take your turn, you take my turn, I canâ™t even act now
Oh! I canâ™t breathe, please believe, feels like a panic attack
and thatâ™s why Iâ™m sad, my bad, Iâ™ll step away right now it
Looks like youâ™ll never let me have a word to say!
The people on the street, that giant rushing crowd
They act like they donâ™t know, in my mind I hear them laugh so loud
I stop and close my eyes,
begin to catch my breath
I soon start to think of when we first had met
It was a stroke of pure dumb luck, or maybe it was fate
I was running to the nearest bridge where I could end that tragic day
Just then you shouted out, and we didnâ™t know what to do
You gave me your hand, you helped me down
I wish I knew way back then what I know now
Oh! You take your turn, you take my turn, I canâ™t even act now
(Oh! Please take your turn, please take my turn, I donâ™t wanna act now)
Oh! I canâ™t breathe, please believe, feels like a panic attack
(Oh! I canâ™t breathe, please believe)
I want those panic attacks
Oh! This new change, though itâ™s strange I think itâ™s for the best
Oh! Iâ™m so scared, unprepared for this test
So, Should I go on my own, into the sunset
If I stay behind Iâ™ll never move ahead.
Oh! Please take your turn, please take my turn, I donâ™t wanna act now
Oh! I canâ™t breathe, please believe, I want those panic attacks
I am a fool, but I guess I should tell you right now
Please play with me once again,
Iâ™ll fix, myself for you somehow

[ Paris Attacks
Full scale panic at place de la République caused by firecrackers]
they stayed in position for quite some
time the area was cleared people were
crying they left their belongings
bicycles littered the floor I even saw
somebody's shoe left behind that was the
scale of the panic no one was even going
to stop to try to get their shoe back on
people ran into nearby shops where the
shutters were then brought down into
nearby hotels this was a full scale
panic and it isn't surprising were less
than 48 hours on from when all of this
began those deadly attacks targeting
people in public places and of course
everyone knows that the rallying point
here in Paris at the moment is the Place
de la Republique they would definitely
well over a thousand maybe even two
thousand people gathered here all in
defiance
saying that they were going to stand at
stand tall one gentleman stopped
randomly and just said to me the
Republic is on its feet wet injured but
we're on our feet that's the attitude of
people here in paris but that defiant
gave way to fear very very swiftly
indeed now you can see that there are
still some people gathered here some
have returned maybe some her arrive
later and don't even realize that there
was such a full-scale panic here but
we'll wait and see whether or not the
the scale of the crowds returned because
it really felt as though this was a
moment where people were very much in
danger here in the French capital
tonight we've got some live pictures
actually from a side street just a just
a short distance from where you are and
the scene there appears to be once again
calm people laying flowers lighting
candles maybe pausing for a moment and
thinking and paying respects to the
victims
that was presumably the scene around the
main statue in plus the bleak before
that moment of panic broke out
before the moment of panic as you
describe it it it felt almost like a
stampede it was that dramatic and that
passed before that happened the
atmosphere was actually almost
carnivalesque it was very much at odds
with everything that we've seen over the
last 48 hours here in paris this wasn't
a group of people
morning this was a group of people
celebrating the fact that they were
standing up to terrorists and saying we
are free to do what we want there were
people singing spontaneous songs
breaking out the Marseille is of course
but also songs like come together stand
by me all songs with meaning for these
people who wanted to say we are here to
stand up to the terrorists not to give
way to them even people standing around
carrying placards saying
off their free hugs just hugging people
and people who are she dissolving into
tears as they have lots of human contact
with a stranger and it was it was a real
sense of defiance and and quite a happy
atmosphere here which has changed so
radically so quickly thanks for that
image James James there in plus the lack
of public with the latest on that
incident which just receiving word
actually from the french police who say
those crowds panicked after hearing
firecrackers so that might be the banks
and the crashes that were described just
their french police saying that
republicans panic sparked by
firecrackers
