How to Alleviate Panic Attacks : What Are Panic Attacks? - How The Hersheys Ban On Cadburys Has Started A Chocolate Revolution

How to Alleviate Panic Attacks : What Are Panic Attacks?

Hi. This is Ben Brennan from Austin, Texas.
I'm coming to you on behalf of Expert Village
and today we are going to be talking about
panic attacks. Here are some ideas about how
to explain panic attacks and explain your
situation to the people around you in your
life. The first is to read a book together.
A lot of times, this can be a way that they
can educate themselves, or you can educate
them about panic attacks in general. It's
important for the people around you to understand
what a panic attack is and sometimes the best
way to do that is to read a book about it.
Another reason this can help is that it can
legitimize it to your friends and family members.
For instance, maybe, you might have a husband
who's not really sure that you should get
worked up about things when you are having
panic attacks. He doesn't understand. When
he reads a book, that might help legitimize
what you are going through. A second thing
you can do to educate your friends or family
members about panic attacks is to tell them
what panic attacks are for you. What's your
experience? What are you feeling like? Use
metaphors and feeling words such as andquot;I feel
like I'm going to dieandquot; or andquot;I feel like I can't
breathe,andquot; andquot;I feel like I've just run ten 100-yard
dashes in a row, andquot; andquot;I feel like my chest is
going to explode, andquot; andquot;I feel like my heart is
going to beat out of my chest.andquot; Use words
like that to explain what that's like. And
tell them how long your panic attacks last,
and do they make you feel sad, do they make
you feel ashamed? You know, tell them what
your personal experience is like with panic
attacks. Now after you've explained to them
what panic attacks are like generally, and
you've told your loved ones and family members
what panic attacks specifically do to you,
or what that experience is like for you, you
want to tell them action steps that they can
do to help you. When you are experiencing
a panic attack, a lot of times it is really
hard to communicate this. And so, the best
thing to do is beforehand, in a relaxed environment,
confide in them and talk to them about what
they can do for you. Now, this could be something
like holding your hand. It could be hugging
you. You're the expert; you're the person
who's had the panic attacks and you know what
you need. So, talk to them about what they
can do for you and action steps that they
can take to help you out. And if you educate
your loved ones on what panic attacks are,
if you educate them about what the experience
is like for you, and if you educate them on
what they can do to help you out specifically,
you are going to have a great support system
in place to deal with your panic attacks.

How The Hersheys Ban On Cadburys Has Started A Chocolate Revolution

These are dark days in America. From the depths
of despair we are being bombarded and overwhelmed
with deeply disturbing and depressing news
from all around the world. The recent changes
enforced by Hershey's is an all out assault
on liberty, it's an attack on Freedom everywhere.
The Freedom to choose our favorite candy.
With all of the adversity that we are facing
in the world today, War, Poverty, Corruption,
now we are learning that not even our even
favorite chocolates are safe! Our personal
liberties are are under attack. The British
Cadbury Chocolate is a preferred favorite
treat for me and my family. Now an American
Icon like Hershey's has decided that it's
going to do the most Un American thing imaginable
and BAN the imports of Cadbury Chocolates
into the USA. I ask you Hershey's, is that
any way for you guuys to treat an ally? Whatever
happened to that old saying andquot;if you can't
beat em join emandquot;? You guys at Hershey's are
saying that if you can't beat em your just
gonna ban em! How unamerican and not cool
is that?
Hershey's was founded on the American principles
of FREEDOM and now you guys are thumbing your
noses at Democracy by taking away our Freedom
to choose our Favorite Chocolate! With everything
on the line and Freedom under assault, I've
realized that sometimes in the life you have
got to take a stand. The time for revolution
is at hand! It's time for a chocolate revolution.
We have to ask ourselves, Are we willing to
sacrifice our favorite chocolates for the
sake of corporate greed? Are we willing to
throw away 200 years of blood and treasure
for a substandard chocolate that is bittersweet
at best a chocolate that will forever leave
a bad taste in our mouths, a bad taste that
can only be born of something having been
tainted in the bowels of oppression.
The ability of discerning Americans to tell
the difference between chocolates and then
be able to choose which of the chocolates
that we like the best is the most basic of
our civil rights! You guys at Hershey's have
harnessed the power of the Government to force
your will on the people. Need I remind you
that the Government is funded by the Tax payers
and the Tax payers should have the right to
choose which chocolates we prefer! This revolution
is not just about chocolate, this revolution
is also about freedom. The freedom to choose
our favorite chocolates, our freedom to choose
is in jeapordy and with Easter fast approaching
I am here to say in unambiguous terms that
me and my family stand with Cadbury!
You guys at Hersheys are forcing me to have
to pray to the Cadbury Dairy Fairy to fix
something that was never broken in the first
place. You guys at Hershey's are forcing me
to have to pray to the Cadbury Dairy Fairy
to bring back something that I thought I would
never lose here in America... Freedom and
CHOCOLATE. On behalf of all that is sacred
in America I hereby call on the corporate
officers at Hershey's to dismiss and drop
this Fiasco that your trying to masquerade
as lawsuit! Restore freedom and bring back
our favorite Cadbury Dairy Chocolates that
we've all grown to know in love here in America!
Bring Back Cadbury!
Seems reasonable if you ask me!
