As unlikely as it may seem, the feelings of
dread, abject fear, tightness in the chest
and heart palpitations that accompany a typical panic attack
could be the result of an iron deficiency.

Basically, our bone marrow needs iron to create
the protein molecule hemoglobin.
Hemoglobin is what makes red blood cells red and delivers oxygen from the lungs
to every cell in the body, including brain cells.
It's no secret that an iron deficiency can
cause cognitive impairment and neurodegeneration,
and not just in infants and children; some
of the resulting neurological syndromes are
mistaken for psychiatric conditions.
Also, according to the National Heart Lung
and Blood Institute, âœIn some cases, low
iron levels can lead to irregular heartbeats
and arrhythmias.â
And these can trigger a panic attack, especially if one believes
that they might be having a heart attack.
The good news is, if one's panic attacks are
being caused by an iron deficiency, once their
iron levels are back in the normal range the
panic attacks and their preceding symptoms
should cease.
A simple ferritin test can determine whether
or not one's iron levels are below normal.
If one is found to be iron deficient, it's
easy enough to include more iron-rich foods
in one's diet and/or take an iron supplement.
Some people become so iron deficient, before
being diagnosed as such, that they require
intravenous iron treatments, because dietary
changes and supplements alone won't work quickly
enough to prevent (possibly irreversible)
damage to the brain and body.
Intravenous iron treatments are usually very effective, but if they're not, chances are,
the patient has bigger problems than iron-deficiency-triggered panic attacks.

The following numbers come from the Centers
for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC):

How much iron one needs is determined by age
and gender.
[music]
Once a girl hits puberty and begins menstruating,
she requires more iron than males of all ages;
this only changes once she's completed menopause.
After menopause, men and women have the same
iron requirements.
There are other physiological triggers for
panic attacks,
including Mitral valve prolapse, hypoglycemia,
hyperthyroidism, withdrawal from certain medications,
use of stimulant drugs and even caffeine,
but iron deficiency is a common, yet often
overlooked, cause of panic attacks that sufferers
would be wise to keep in mind as they seek an end to their suffering.

Panic Attack Cure
Hi. This is jeff from PANICEND.COM.
This is my very first message
And we're going to talk today about what to
do when you feel a panic attack coming on.
Panic attacks come about by
what you are telling yourself.
And you're telling yourself that you are
afraid of something happening to you.
Your nervous system exists for your
survival and it can't tell apprehension
from the real thing.
So it gives you tension and upsets parts
of your body. It makes your eyes blurry.
It makes you feel a little giddy,
your stomach nauseous. It tenses your
muscles, makes your heart beat faster, you
breathe faster.
This prepares you for the big battle
because right now you perceive that you
are threatened.
But there's no battle for survival but
your nervous system just doesn't know
it.
When these strange feelings and
sensations of anxiety begin to grow
you add more fear because you want
these feelings to stop and you want to
have control over them.
But you have to resolve your fear.
You have to stay with the fear
sensations and follow it to the end and
see for yourself what is there, while
willingly experiencing it
all the sensations, all the fear, all the
feelings.
You can't hide.
You lay down your fight. You become as
passive as you can be.
You become the tree in the wind.
You see this is opposite to panic attacks,
and this breaks the cycle.
If you are waiting for the end of the
panic it won't end.
It has to be total acceptance of your
panic situation.
You let it do whatever it wants to for as
long as it wants and you accept all.
The more you fight it and fear it the
more power it has.
The converse is true:
letting it run its course unabated
shuts it down.
When the panic attack is about to start
you have to let it andquot;kill youandquot; so-to-speak
not talking about suicide, I'm
talking about the attitude of andquot;go ahead
kill me!andquot;
You have to allowed it to do it's very
worst to you without looking over your
shoulder for it to end.
This is facing.
Panic is a cycle.
It's a fear of itself and it keeps the
cycle going and you are stuck in the
fear when you are in a panic state.
You have panic because you're afraid of
panic!
It's all inside you to stop the panic,
not by fighting or hiding but to become
passive
and let it do its worst with no stopping it.
The panic is only your worrying gone to
the next automatic level where you don't
have control over it.
The only way you can switch it off is to
resolve the worry.
You are worried about going insane
yet you have no proof of that. None!
So go insane!
Giving in to panic is the resolution that
can shut off the panic
if you are determined to see it through.

If timed correctly, your kart or bike instacool will receive a big boost at the start and will accelerate to top speed quickly.Tip: Getting knocked off the course is never a good time. It's a frustrating wait as you're lifted back into the race.
