Fear of Driving a Car | Stress Behind the Wheel: Overcoming Fear of Driving a Car

Fear of Driving a Car
Conquering your fear of driving is a process.
Driving in general is something that should cause a minimal amount of anxiety in order to keep you safe on the road.
But reducing an excessive amount of needless fear is a bit more challenging.
Here are a few suggestions to help you understand.
- Face Your Fears
This may be harder for some than others.
It may not be possible if your fear is so high you can't even go near the car let alone get in it.
- Drive in Traffic-Free Areas
Driving in a stress-free zone will encourage you to regain your confidence.
Drive long enough so you become bored and tired.
Use a large, empty parking lot and continue to drive until you feel comfortable again behind the wheel.
- Be a Safe Driver to Avoid any Further Anxiety
Make sure you are not your own worst enemy and creating self-inflicted anxiety levels with poor driving habits.
Drive the speed limit, check your blind spots, and always use your turn signal.
- Practice Mindfulness
It's important to be aware of the warning signs of potential stress and tension arising.
If you are aware, or mindful, you'll have a better chance of talking yourself out of them.
Mindfulness refers to being aware enough in order to address each instance of stress one by one and paying attention to how you feel.
Learning to effectively deal with your stress and overcoming fear of driving is necessary to be safe on the road.
If you need to, go ahead and explore conventional anti-anxiety strategies for treating common anxiety along with panic attacks and phobias.
It's time to take back control of your fear of driving a car.

23. Testimonial Moore, OK 2013 Tornado Survivor

Love, Peace, and Happiness Go Out to Each and Everyone who experienced the Tornado of Moore, OK
Watch how Madison Changes Frightening, Emotions, Panic Attacks, and Thoughts about the Devastation of the 2013 Moore Oklahoma Tornado.
Hi my name is Madison and today I'm going to talk to you about my experience with Faster EFT.
When I first went to Carmene. I told her that I had been
experiencing feelings of guilt, of anxiety and I was having panic attacks
anytime I would come into Moore, the
disaster area
my house is affected by the tornado and
anytime I came home I had a panic attack
and
I'd leave just feeling guilty because everything
about 50 yards north of
my house is pretty much gone and so I
was explaining all these things to Carmene.
and she told me to
get my emotions up to a 10. Feel the way I was feeling the day I was in the pantry with
my boyfriend and our animals and I did. I got up there.
I started crying. She really helped me discover
what I was feeling
wasn't right and I wasn't...that
there was more to what I was feeling. Like I told her it was just anxiety.
But it was more than that, it was worryness. I was worried because I couldn't get a hold of my mom.
I was scared because I knew my mom would be freaking out and I just need to let her know that
I'm OK and not worry, and not to drive into a tornado, because my parents would do that,
to save me. So that that's where a lot
of my stress and
anxiety was coming from too.
So she helped me figure this out. I never really give it (the tornado) much thought before
I talked to Carmene.
because I don't want to think about it, I didn't want to I would try to just push it out.
Carmene. talked to me and tapped on me for about
25 minutes, I don't even think we made it 30
minutes.
She had me replace those memories with
happier memories.
When she was talking to me I was sitting there thinking...
This is kinda weird, this is just really weird.
Why? I couldn't understand the
dynamics of Faster EFT...
before I was actually tapped on.
After she tapped on me
and had me replace the bad memories
She told me to think of been think of the anxiety
to see if it was still there. Find it.
Find that scary memory, that traumatic memory.
And I did. I searched for it...
and I found it, but the memory had changed and it didn't hurt me.
It's funny because
when Carmene. asked me to do this video
I initially sat in our hotel room. I was like,
okay well I'll just do it here. This is easy.
But then I decided, you know I'm
gonna go to the house
where I usually get anxiety attacks
and I'm going to film it there. So this is me
in our bedroom and I don't have any
anxiety.
I don't...I see the destruction and it
it hurts in a different way. I feel bad, but I no longer
feel the feelings of guilt. I feel sad for
the people affected and for my house, and my boyfriend and everyone else
whose lives changed but it doesn't make
me feel guilty. I don't have to feel
like I need to have a panic attack
or that you know
it's a wonderful feeling and I
definitely recommend
Faster EFT and Carmene. Gonzalez to anyone...
She's an amazing woman.
